| Forman, Inc. traces its roots all the way back to 1946 when Morris R. Forman
and his son Leonard started what was then known as M. R. Forman and Son.
They together got involved with the brokering of paper bags and sacks and
shortly thereafter added additional lines and also began to warehouse the
product. |
| |
| From
its inception Forman, Inc. has always sold products exclusively to wholesale
distribution companies.

In
1952 Joseph Mucha (currently Chairman of the Board) joined the Forman team. In
the ensuing years Forman continued to add product lines and expand its
territory. In 1963 Morris Forman passed away. The company then
moved forward under the direction of Morris' son Leonard and Joseph Mucha who
eventually became Executive Vice President. In 1978 the Forman family decided
to sell the business and it was purchased by Joseph and his brother, Frank
Mucha, who changed the name to today's Forman, Inc. and proceeded over
the years to quadruple the size of the business.
Today Forman, Inc.'s
products are distributed out of a 140,000 square foot food grade warehouse
in Laurel Maryland. The executive offices are located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Forman, Inc. continues to expand its territory actually traveling to most states
east of the Rockies with a primary trading area that encompasses Maryland,
District of Columbia, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, parts of
New York, North Carolina, Ohio, West Virginia and Connecticut.
Forman, Inc.
distributes products from over 100 manufacturers of food service disposables,
sanitary maintenance and related products to a vast array of national and
regional wholesale distributors. Most distributors are serviced by a modern and
company owned fleet of tractors and trailers. Forman, Inc. is a PreDistributor
dedicated to providing quality service and products to our customers. In a
current joint mission statement, President Wayne A. Littlefield and Vice
President Giles Burns convey that "Forman, Inc. will continue to learn
from our customers of their needs and strive to provide the products and
